If you’ve never made a UX comic before, it can be tricky to know what format to use. The most important decision relates to what you’re trying to do. I’ve outlined a process you can follow in the diagram above. It shows three reasons to use comics:

  1. Introducing your audience
  2. Illustrating an event or interaction
  3. Communicating an entire user journey
