Five UX Myths to Avoid

I recently attended my first ever Product Tank South West meet up where I spoke about UX myths. I found it to be a very useful evening as I got to meet other Product Managers who face similar challenges to me in my new role. It can feel like a very lonely position, so it was great to connect with other people.

One of the things that has come to frustrate me about the UX field is the proliferation of quacks and snake oil salesmen that get away claiming to ‘do UX’. Their work is at best useless, and at worst harmful to product development. I grouped together five of my favourite/worst myths that get promoted by these people for my talk, and then wrote a piece over on Medium.
